 If you are a crafty bride or want to be craftier for you wedding, then these DIY wedding favors are what you are looking for. These favors are simple to make and will be a great gift for you quest for after your wedding. Meghan Carlson from Julep wrote about “25 Unique, Easy, and Awesome DIY Wedding Favors.” These are our favorites from that list. 1. Candy
A take-home candy bar filled with your favorite or your guest’s favorite treats and bags for them to put the candy in. This is a fun and tasty way for you guests to get a treat for the way home and it is fun for the kids to make the bags. 2. Local Goods You could give your guests a jar of local honey or jam from a local farm or business. If you don’t want jam or honey, you could also get fresh fruit from the farm or business to give to your guests. 3. Pie In a Jar Send your guests home with a pie in a jar. If you love to bake, this is the favor for you. You and your bridesmaids will have a blast making them for your guests. 4. S’mores! Package together all of the makings to make a S’more. Who doesn’t love a S’more? 5. Coffee Are you a coffee addict or is your family and friends coffee addicts? Then sending your guests home with a bag of coffee is the perfect favor. If you or your guests are not coffee drinkers, then use tea. 6. Seeds Seeds are very cost-effective and already come packaged. You can always use the saying ”Watch Love Grow” when making your own twist on the package. Perfect for a rustic garden wedding. 7. A mix tape If you and your guests are big music fans, then making a mix tape of your favorite songs, or of songs from the wedding, is the perfect gift.
